Vocal Function Exercises(VFE) Voice Technique Handout and Chartin

Definition of Techniques:

VFEs were developed as a physiological approach for treating voice disorders by directly manipulating the underlying anatomy and physiology that is important for a healthy voice production.

What Kinds of Clients Benefits:

  1. Clients with Hypo-functional voice disorders: weakness, breathiness, vocal fatigue

  2. Clients with glottal incompetence ( vocal folds don't fully adduct/close properly)
